Linda Stout

The release of Linda's long-awaited debut CD will be celebrated at the famous Moosewood Restaurant. The event is set for 3-5 p.m. Saturday Oct. 23. Linda will perform with Charlie Shew, on drums, congas and hand percussion. Charlie played percussion and bass on the CD. He's an in-demand drummer and bassist and also plays with Samite of Uganda, Hank Roberts, Mectapus and London McDaniel. Charlie played with Orleans, Robbie Dupree and Mick Ronson. Joseph Prusch will play bass. Joseph is a multi-instrumentalist who has also played viola with Linda. He has played in Seven Years, with the Katherine Aelias Band and is performing with Jake Roberts. The new CD, "Good Luck Child," will be on sale at a special discounted price. The event is free and open to the public, but arrive early to get a seat. The party will be catered by the Moosewood, which is known for its vegetarian cookbooks.
