Since my last blog about the friendliness of a local postal worker, I have learned something. I have learned not to send CDs through the package service, unless there's no hurry. CDBaby ran out of CDs, and they got back ordered; they are of course very nice about it, but none of us are pleased. We want to deliver all the CDs we can. I kept tracking the shipment, and finally tonight learned it's in Washington, not Portland, Oregon. CDs should be there Friday, Oct. 1, so order away at www.CDBaby or try, at a slightly lower price, our local Ithaca online record store, www.Funkyside.com, which has lots of cool Ithaca music. In Ithaca, stroll into Ludgate Farms, Small World Music (I cannot go in there without spending at least $40, but there are always lots of great prices on used and new CDs), Sounds Fine on the Commons (also have lots of new and used CDs) and Ithaca Guitar Works (where I have bought nearly all my guitars). They can be ordered directly from this website and payment by check ($15 includes shipping) can be arranged; write CD@LindaStout.com. Thanks to the fans in Italy and Germany who found me. I hope to be touring in your neighborhoods. We're working on booking, steadily now, and I'm planning to be in NYC soon, more details soon.
